Extreme Makeover - Milbridge Episode Airs January 6th on ABC
Local TV Special on the Making of Extreme Makeover to Air Prior to Network PremierThe hit reality television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, will air the episode filmed in September in Milbridge, Maine on Sunday January 6th. Hundreds of skilled volunteers joined Ty Pennington and his design team in building a 4,300 square foot home for the Ray-Smith family in one week. Viewers may tune in to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition which is seen Sundays 8/7c on ABC.
Prior to the network premier of the Milbridge episode, viewer can see a locally produced special on the making of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition titled The Week Extreme Makeover Came To Milbridge. ABC 7 News Anchor Cindy Michaels and Ric Tyler of 103.9 WVOM The Voice Of Maine will host the half hour special airing on WVII-TV at 6:30 on Sunday, January 6th.
The locally produced special will feature 'behind the scenes' stories of the volunteers, donors, and sponsors who made the Extreme Makeover event in Milbridge a success. All of the materials were donated by local merchants, families, and individuals. All of the labor was provided for free by local volunteers. All of the work was done in one week?s time.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which has won back-to-back Emmy Awards as Best Reality Program (non-competitive), is entering its 5th season on ABC. The program is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. Denise Cramsey is the executive producer; David Goldberg is president of Endemol USA.
